Have you done a Canadian Rockies cruisetours

Having taken advice from fellow CC members my DH an I have decided to do an Alaska cruise next August for our silver wedding anniversary. To make it really special we are going to book the 13 night Canadian Rockies cruisetours, it is a lot of money but we have got the cruise bug and I have always wanted to see the Rockies. Is there anyone that has done this tour ? Is it worth the £8000 it is going to cost. I would appreciate any advice etc.

Thanks.

I'm probably not going to help because I haven 't done this tour.

I have, however done a Canadian Rockies tour last year with DH and just returned from the same thing with DD.

This is an incredibly beautiful area, mountains with snowy tops and glaciers, lush greenery and rivers and lakes colored emerald or bright blue by rock flour. The towns are charming, people friendly and the whole area pristine.

We met Brits, Aussies and Germans, all having the time of their lives.

Do your research and enjoy your Alaska cruise whether or not you extend your trip.
