A Bridge to Far ?

Hello Stephen, I often browse the web looking at pictures of your wonderful Ship, but I have come to the conclusions, that I prefer Her with the extended Bridge Wings. I know it was not your original Design, but which do you prefer, and did you have any input on the extensions ?

Thank you for your kind comments about Queen Mary 2.

I originally designed the extent of the bridge wings of the ship to provide a clear view aft past the lifeboats. In service it was determined that an even clearer view would be desirable; hence the decision to extend the bridge wings further outboard.

I don't think the extended bridge wings are noticeably bigger when compared to the bulk of the ship. She still looks good!
