dobes3kh Posted September 24, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted September 24, 2013 Indy does not have any advance booking of shows. Thanks clarea. Had read a review from another Freedom based ship and they indicated they had assigned seating that they had booked in advance for the shows. Very confusing to someone who hasn't sailed RCI before!! Clarea Posted September 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2013 Thanks clarea. Had read a review from another Freedom based ship and they indicated they had assigned seating that they had booked in advance for the shows. Very confusing to someone who hasn't sailed RCI before!! The other 2 Freedom class ship (Freedom and Liberty) used to have advance booking of several shows, but that has been limited to the ice show since late last year. Indy never had any advance booking, and no ship to my knowledge has assigned seats for shows.
papaflamingo Posted September 25, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 25, 2013 We have done Freedom twice. We pre-booked shows but only really need to pre-book Ice Show if you can. That is fairly limited seating. All other shows, no problem getting in when you want. Allure and Oasis are a different story. Pre-book all shows on them. trev71 Posted September 25, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 25, 2013 I agree about pre booking on the Allure and Oasis.. its a crazy time when it comes to show time we always make sure we are there semi early.. enough time to order a drink.. ;)
the_journeyman Posted September 25, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 25, 2013 Definitely pre-book on Oasis class. Probably not necessary on Freedom, aside from the Ice Show. I remember on the Adventure (similar in size) they handed out tickets for the Ice show because it filled up so fast. JM
Tyler80 Posted September 25, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 25, 2013 There really is no reason to pre-book shows on Freedom Class ships. There is plenty of room for everyone to see the shows. The ice show I would recommend you get a ticket when they are released or book in advance if you can do so. That venue is smaller and tends to fill up fast!
