Freedom vs Glory

Currently booked on Freedom, thinking about possibly switching to Glory.

 

I had booked Freedom for May 2014, post dry dock, but now they've changed the ports. I know this can happen and had every intention of accepting it because the ship was / is equally as important ... Now the Glory just got offered to me as an option ... Please, I have done no research on the Glory, don't know if its being upgraded or IF it even is a ship we want.

 

Thoughts & info from hopefully someone who can provide insight regarding Glory!

The Glory was updated last year with the 2.0 she is awesome! I went on her pre and post dry dock. Tons of stuff to do and very clean! I am going on her again in 3 weeks and can't wait! Feel free to ask me any questions about her! :)

I am anxious to see what happens with the Freedom in this longer drydock.

 

It all depends on the ports.

 

How many nights did you book?

 

The Glory was clean and very beautiful. I loved Guys and it is just a great ship to cruise on.

 

Choose Glory for now, but update us on your itinerary. That could change my opinion.

I'll be on the Freedom next week and the Glory in two months. Although I'll be able to provide you a very current comparison of the two, I'm not sure it will hold much weight since the Freedom will be pre-2.0 when I'm on it. That will make a big difference.

Which ports did you have before and which do you have now?

Glory is a great ship. Love the 2.0 upgrades. CD Matt was great and the staff were the friendliest out of my 12 cruises.
