Sign and Sail cash refund

I used cash on my sign and sail, and at the end of the cruise, still had around $90 left on it. When I got the bill in the mailbox the morning we left, it said the refund would be mailed to me. Does anyone have any idea how long this takes?

just off the conquest; the last day's fun times said that if you didn't cash out via a kiosk or guest services, they'd mail a check within 7 days for balances of more than $5. Less than $5, they would donate to St. Jude.

We always get a check in the mailbox on the last morning.

does it really matter when they changed it, but they have changed it.

you can go to the kiosk thingy, get your statement find out what you balance is, cash out there or find out what your balance is from the tv go to casino load up machine with your balance on your account, bet a penny , close out machine, balance goes on your casino bank account and cash out at casino teller.

I've been going to the pursers desk the evening before debarkation, and getting CASH IN HAND for my balance. Works for me! :D

To tell the truth, I go the day before debarkation and check on how much I'm going to get, since some of the OBC's are refundable, and some are NOT! Last time, aboard "Breeze", I had nearly $100 that was not going to be refunded, so the lovely Mrs., found some "stuff" in the gift shop and spent all that money. I'd rather do that, than just give it back to 'em. :D

When did they start doing this? Last time I cruised, last year, my refund check was attached to the bill.

My guess would be sometime between last year and this year. On my cruise in April 2012, I got a refund check slipped under my cabin door like you did. In April this year, I had to cash out at Guest Services.

I prefer this year's method. It gives me funds for food on the way home, instead of having to set money aside prior to even getting on the cruise.

You can also get your money back from the casino instead of giving it back.

In January and February I received checks both times, then in April they said our credit would be mailed to us. I can't remember exactly how long it took but it didn't take very long at all. Maybe 10 days at the most.
