Which ports to run in?

We are those crazy people you see exit the ship and take off running! It helps us stay on track on our Half Marathon training, and serves to counterbalance all that yummy food on board :D

 

Question: We will be on the December 9 Ocean Princess RT Papeete. It looks like we can scuba dive in Rangiroa and Bora Bora but which of the rest of the ports have good running routes? We'll probably limit it to 5-6 miles (we are on vacation, after all :p) although maybe some of the islands aren't that big, so loops work too!

Most roads have very little shoulder to run/walk on.

 

I would choose island s that aren't heavily traveled by the locals. Rangiroa, Huahine are good choices.

 

Moorea has some good trails that take off from the Belvedre.
