Port vs starboard stateroom selection

Honestly, it depends on which category of room. Rooms of the same category may have both a hall way entrance and French doors out to the guard while on the other side the rooms only have the doors out to the guard. Having two doors is nice if the weather is rainy or very hot.

In the dinning room I prefer a table on the starboard side though. Unless it's been fixed there is a loud diesel generator that can be felt and heard in the port side of the dinning room.
