Cozumel Passport Stamped

I've been reading some conflicting info. Has anyone gotten their passport stamped at/near the port where CCL docks? It seems like there is a place in downtown cozumel (I think someone said the post office) but not sure if there is someplace right when you get off the ship.

We were going to get ours stamped when we were there, but apparently the office that does the stamping is waaaaay off from the docks. We didn't think about it while shopping or while eating lunch at Pancho's which is also waaay off from the dock.:mad:

 

Never did find anyone who knew exactly where it was or who even got their passport stamped.:(
