Royal Princess - Soot on Balcony

We have just done 21 days on majestic...for at least 18 days we had soot falling on our delux balcony D731 (same position exactly as on the photo above of the royal)... the 3 days no soot we had strong winds across the ship taking the soot onward over the side.

Do you think princess should compensate us for not being able to use the balcony .

I would have thought the problem would have been solved for the new ship since they had problems with soot on the Royal class ships since the start. You should be entitled to some compensation.

This happened to us while sitting at the aft pool on Crown Princess. 15 day cruise to Hawaii last October. Ruined our shirts. But first time in 20 years of cruising.

Actually we thought it would wash out when we got home. Silly me. Should have known better. Should it happen again will be sure to ask.
