chrispb Posted October 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2013 You could go to the Fishermans' Village and combine it with a beach if you wish.
DipBrat Posted October 15, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2013 You could go to the Fishermans' Village and combine it with a beach if you wish. Depends on what you are looking for. The beach is definitely the highlight but, there are some more actives options too. You could do some hiking, kayaking etc or if it is your one and only Thai stop you could see some temples, but they will not be as spectacular as you could see elsewhere. Princess Jessie Posted October 22, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Hi, thank you for your ideas... we have two days in Bangkok.. stopping at Laem Chabang.. So will do the temples there! I think the ship docks / tenders on the west side near Na Thon... have been told to avoid the beaches on the East side as very commercialised. Am happy with beach... don't particularly want to energetic... Someone suggested going to the Anantara Hotel? Anyone know anything about it? Is it possible to go to the hotel and spend time there using its facilities?
