Private Excursion Vendors

Hey seasoned travelers, looking for the names of some reputable, safe, and tried-and-true private excursion vendors in both Georgetown, Grand Cayman and Falmouth, Jamaica.

 

I have heard that the private excursions tend to be a bit less expensive and a bit more "flexible" in what you want to do. Really want to make sure that whomever we use, they are reputable, safe and if you have used them - that you would use them again.

I had the same question and posted it as well and no one answered :(

 

Anyways, I ended up searching the "Grand Cayman" thread literally page by page to find some kind of answer as to what tour companies were reputable to book with....and I ended up finding a GREAT thread that answered all my questions :D:D I'll post the link to the thread below along with some of the tour companies that I thought sounded the best, plus they all have amazing tripadvisor reviews which is great! I'm sure you'll find all your answers here just as I did. Hope this helps!!! :D:D

For Grand Cayman I can also highly recommend Chip and Stingray sailing and Kevin with Ecotours. Nice boats, small groups and some flexibility for stops. Gives you plenty of time in the water.

Hi,

 

We LOVE Stingray Sailing in Grand Cayman. Chip and crew are awesome. Only 25 people on a catamaran - not 100 packed on a boat. Very reasonable prices also. You won't be disappointed.

 

We are sailing with them for our 3rd time in Nov. Can't wait!

In Jamaica we have used Marva Shaw twice, found her on CC and we will most likely be using her again in Jan. http://www.knowjamaica.com/en

I have used a number of operators in Jamaica, but enjoyed Jo Junie the best of all. We were just in Falmouth in January. Don't have his website handy, but you can google him or check Trip Advisor where you will find very good reviews.
