Yes.

 

But so difficult to compare Cunard is very grand and feels very grand the steaks were better quality, food was presented slightly better, breakfasts were more grand, smoked salmon available every day. The food on the Azura was very good but QM2 just pipped them at the post.

Thanks soobs, queen Mary was the first ship we sailed on back in 2006.that is what got us into this cruising thing. Starting at the top you might say! We had the delight of a princess grill suite, so had nothing else to compare to.been eating in the MDR, on p&o ever since. Except a trip to Norway on queen Victoria.i get the impression I will see a difference in Britannia next year. Regards, mike.

Are Cunard cruises more expensive than the equivalent itinery on P&O? If not, how come Cunard can provide better food.

 

Better is subjective. You eat with your eyes and the same food presented in different ways can make you think one is better than the other.
