Captain Marvin tour time

We would like to take the Captain Marvin two stop snorkel/sting ray tour. It leaves at 1:45PM and lasts 2.5 - 2.75 hours "dock to dock" so we would return at approximately 4:30PM. As our ship leaves at 6PM the last tender would be around 5PM. Is this cutting it too close? What if the ship has to anchor in Spotts? We normally take non-ship tours as they are less crowded but I'm concerned about the times with this one. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
