Has anyone upgarded when they boarded for their cruise? If so whats the pricing like??????

On our first RCL cruise in Sept 2003 (VOS) we upgraded at the pier from a D1 balcony to the Owners Suite (OS).

 

The cost of the upgrade was $400 (US) for the cabin. The cost was definately worth it and would do it again.

 

However, don't count on a pier upgrade as they are very hard to come by and it also depends on what month you are cruising.

 

Cost of upgrades are based on length of cruise and has nothing to do with how many people are in the stateroom.

 

Hope this helps and maybe somebody else can give you the list of prices...... perhaps you can do a search on this thread.

Here is the list I posted from the Upgrade chart at the Pier Coordinators

 

desk in 2003. I was on the Mariner of the Seas in 2005 and they were using

 

the same Upgrade prices. This is for a 7 night cruise only..... The cost is Per

 

Cabin - NOT per person. the Pier Coordinators desk is where you go after you

 

check in and get your Sea Pass card. It is usually near the check in

 

stations...Just Ask.... ;)
