Halloween Cruises

Does Princess do anything special for cruises that take place during Halloween? Is there a Costume Party?

I do believe they decorate the lobby and have crew dressed in costumes and even a party for the kids while onboard...haven't done a cruise at Halloween in a longtime.

We also have not sailed on Halloween for several years, but the last time we did, they did have a Halloween Deck party onboard our ship. The crew really came up with some imaginary costumes, I must admit. LOL

We'll be on the Coral Princess this Halloween (Oct 25-Nov 4) so I guess I'll find out if they do anything special!

Some of the crew will be in costume, as well as some of the passengers. And, to a small degree - mainly the atrium - there will be a display of decorated foods. There will also probably be a children's costume parade through the dining room at some point during the evening, but at Halloween, there are not a lot of children onboard, so it will probably not be a very large parade.

been on a princess cruise the last 4 years during Halloween. The wait staff always dress during dinner and have a ball doing so. Some private parties happen around the ship so several people do dress up. The kitchen staff carve some awesome jack-o-lanterns and the chefs incorporate pumpkin into a lot of the menu. It's a fun time of the year. I'll be seeing you on the Sapphire this Halloween!

I'd forgotten about that! I really enjoyed the pumkin-heavy menu. I wish I had a Halloween cruise booked!!!

WE were on the American Queen during Holloweeen and they had a Pumpkin CArving Contest. Lots of fun. :)

We will be on the Star for the Oct. 30 cruise - never been on a ship for Haloween - but - I am taking a BIG bag with and going from door to door!!
