Price Protection on PrincessCruises

I normally cruise with Carnival and I was just looking at a Princess Cruise and I was wondering if they offer Price Protection ?

We had already made final payment and were in penalty when we received a flyer from Princess that included our cruise. I called and they adjusted the price downward and refunded the money to my credit card.

Princess does not have anything in writing as far as Price Protection. If after final payment you can call and ask. Some have had success.

No, Princess doesn't offer that like Carnival has. You might think they would since they're owned by the same company, but it's totally different. IME, it pays to book after final payment if you're flexible on your cabin location and it's a common itinerary with a lot of availability for your particular sailing.
