jeno Posted July 10, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2005 We are looking for the name of a guide for ancient Rome. We would be interested in joining a small group or doing it on our own with a guide. Our cruise leaves from Rome, so they do not provide a tour.
Hot2Travel Posted July 10, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 10, 2005 We booked Claudio for a Rome Tour in Sept. Do a search on CC for Claudio and you will be surprised at the excellent feedback. I would post his website, however I undersand it is against CC rules. e-mail me if you can not find his website at: fishnfool3366(at)hotmail(dot)com
Linda in MI Posted July 11, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 11, 2005 We used Stefano Costantini from Romecabs last week and had a great time. He has gotten many good reviews. You can email him at romecabs@yahoo.com . Linda
Fabulous2B50 Posted July 11, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 11, 2005 Check out www.contextrome.com One of my friends just returned from a land trip to Italy and she said they knew everything! They have many different tours and are either custom or very small group, no more than 6-8 people. I plan on using them next summer during our precruise stay in Rome. labwizz Posted July 13, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2005 We booked Drivers in Rome and were given Aldo (sp?). I cannot say enough about his ability to get us to see everything. His driving was shall I say... creative and his ability to get out of/or into near misses was amazing. It was quite a treat. We saw more then I thought was possible in a day. I would book them and ask for Aldo if I ever went back.
