The world cruise starts about January 5, so something about that timing seems off. The Island is in terrible shape and it’s unbelievable they are using it for world cruises. After our 2023 World we cancelled the 2024. During the 2023 they announced the itinerary for 2025. Someone shouted out, “What ship?”. When they said it was the Island, the crowd booed. That crowd was on the Island doing a World Cruise.

We’re Elite and wondering the cost of internet for two people. I think there is something about using free minutes first before paying for internet package? Please advise. Thinking of trying the standard fare due to not much drinking right now.

We were there in 1978 after sailing there in our own boat as college kids. We had some pretty wild adventures. I hope we get to see it again some day.

I had something similar happen to me. We got an airline credit that had to be used by a certain date. Once that date passed and we weren’t able to use the credit, we got a refund. Not perfect, but acceptable to us. And it’s possible we could have used the credit during that time, but we didn’t b

Has anyone that was told they are bumped been able to talk their way into staying on the original cruise and cabin?

Our travel companions received an email from the TA late Saturday night, 4/29. Their cancellation is for 9/30/23. We are three couples linked by the travel agent on Celebrity records. We are all doing the 9/15/23 and 9/30/23 b2b. One couple received cancellation of one of the two legs. The other two couples are apparently still okay. The email said that they had to have their choice to move to one of 3 2024 cruises or cancel, by today. The other two couple are currently cruising around Africa and it’s hard for them to make contact. The TA also said she is going out of town as of yesterday. I find it hard to believe that she just found out about the cancellation on 4/29. She’s another issue, but now we need to try to figure out if there is any hope of getting them back on this cruise.

Our 2023 World cruise was booked on Feb 16, 2021. Our 2024 World cruise was booked on Jan 20, 2022. Does anyone k ow when the 2025 World cruise will be available to book? Would like to know the ship and itinerary. Thanks for any information you may have!

What is the name of the “ Hawaiian Walmart” in Honolulu? I’ve heard about this, but never been there.

Has the new limit of $15 per drink started yet for the Plus Package? If so, have you noticed if the per drink price on the menus have also gone up? Has the wine list for the Plus package changed to include brand names of wine or is it still a generic listing of “Chardonnay”? You still have no idea which brand you’re being served and can’t specify?

With the new pricing, I think the per drink limit price on the Plus package went up. Has that happened yet? If so, has that made any changes in the wine menu? Are the brands of wine listed instead of just the generic “Chardonnay “?

I read on another thread that the ship is very warm because the AC is not working correctly. Are you experiencing that?

I know this doesn’t pertain to most cruises. Before the 111 day World Cruise, we need a Covid test. If we are denied boarding, have you heard of anyone being allowed to board later? (I was just writing this and it posted before I was finished. Now tried to delete it and it won’t let me do that. I guess I’ll see if I get any answers).

On our 2023 World Cruise we’ve started our own book club, selected 4 books and 5 meeting days. The first meeting day we will get aquatinted, select discussion leaders and confirm dates and meeting places still work. We all bought our own books in advance. We did not have confidence Princess would follow through.

She told me I had paid part with obc and part with cc but because some had been paid with obc, the whole refund went to obc.

I was told today that if you pay any portion with OBC , it all goes to OBC. Anytime you call you get a different answer. Mine were for a world cruise with 50 ports so it was very convoluted on adding everything up and subtracting this and that got every excursion booked. I asked her just to concentrate on where my $530 ended up. I was shorted about $40 and she eventually made good on it. This was my 5th phone call about the issue and had chatted twice. The last chat person out and out lied to me to get me off the chat. Frustrating.

We have a large group of Mah Jongg players on the Island for the world cruise. Is the Mah Jongg area still in the Chapel at 1:00 on sea days? If so, it would be great if someone could tell me approximately how many square tables are in there. I know that was the situation months ago, but wonder if anything has changed. Thanks for any help you can give us.

Once I put in a bid, it looks like that is now the minimum bid and I can only go up from there. I don’t know how I can see a new minimum bid. I can’t even see what it was when I did bid. 🤔

Are there larger tables you can join others or mostly just tables for two? I like the concept of dining any time you arrive at the dining room for a world cruise with so many ports, but we enjoy meeting and eating with others most nights.

About 3 weeks ago I cancelled 3 shore excursions for a January 5 cruise. I received no email noticed to confirm the cancellations although I got a verbal confirmation and they said the refund will be coming. Amy idea how long it will take? I don’t want to have to keep remembering and checking for the refund.
