First time cruiser. Regent recommended by friend.
After poor start booking/pre-cruise experience, 'on-board' experience excellent, such that brought future 2yr options 'package'.
Question is how to get best deal when buying future cruises. Is Regent profiling as:-
a) quality product targeting at retaining it's customer base by ensuring that repeat customers get best deal in terms of privileges and cost by early booking
b) 'real-time' pricing with overlay of regional/country pricing policy. Up to customer to seek out best deal at the time and/or whether to book through US or Europe.
On recent cruise booked early (18 months ago) only to find that cruise neighbour booking 6 weeks ago saved approx $2000, by booking through the USA.

Dear Bramblewood,

It is always best to try and book as early as possible; it will secure the best price, the best suite location and preferred grade. There are occasional exceptions where there will be a reduction in the price of a particular cruise, but these are rare and in these instances a compensation plan is available. I can't speak specifically to the $2000 difference you mention without knowing the particulars about your reservation and your cruise neighbour's but that difference is far too large to simply be a matter of UK booking versus US booking.

Kind regards

Graham
