I stand corrected! Thanks for sharing this info:)

Did you find the info on the NCL site, I've never seen it.

On the Dawn last month they were set up in the pool area after boarding -- right next to the guy selling the refillable mugs. They make out a slip, you sign it, and they deliver later that day.

They're fairly large bottles (they'll have them on display). Larger than I'd want to be carrying around the ship, so if you're somebody who always wants one in your hand, you might prefer bringing them from home.

The ship's water is fine and I always drank it in restaurants and the buffet. But in the room I liked being able to pour myself a nice tall glass of water (I always bring a large glass from home)

You do realize the ship's water is probably more pure than any bottled water, right? ;)

I agree about the ships water being pure, but after a bad experience on Explorer I wonder about the plumbing the water goes through.

The last time I was on Explorer, I was having trouble getting cold water. It was very hot. I called maintenance and they came and said the aerator was blocked. When they changed the aerator, I couldn't believe what I saw, the water that came out was dark brown for about 20-40 seconds. It was really gross. It was fine after it cleared out, but I was glad it was too hot to brush my teeth the first night, and I used the bottled water I brought. This was my 5th time on Explorer, and after that I would never drink water from the bathroom faucet on a ship again. I'm sure it was probably an isolated incident, but probably happens on all ships at some time.
