iceman2a Posted November 6, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 6, 2013 Thought I would post a picture of my obstructed view balcony on the Royal Princess. Emerald deck cabin 438. it is the first " straight balcony aft of the mid ship "carve out" port side. as you can see there is no tender in front of the balcony. The port side rescue boat is below to left. you have a view of the promenade deck and the sea to the left looking down!
TorontoTL Posted November 6, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 6, 2013 There are a few gems like that that are priced as obstructed views but don't have any obstruction or metal railing blocking the view. My cabin in January on the Royal is similar on Marina deck way forward.

I am sailing next month and my cabin shows obstructed view when it really has a clear view . They still show obstructed view on there web site . We caught on when we started to see photos of the ship the last few months and it was confirmed on live web t.v. the last 10 days!

Rare 5:00_Somewhere Posted September 26, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 26, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the pic. We're in E429 on the Regal in November. Should essentially identical, but on the opposite side of the ship, with the same "un-obstruction". :) Edited September 26, 2014 by 5:00_Somewhere
