Gem Winter Itinerary Cut Short

Just noticed this while responding to another post on this board:

 

For 2015, the "9 Day" Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Gem is being shorted by a day. In 2014, this cruise was 10 days, 9 nights. In 2015, this cruise will be 9 days, 8 nights. They cut one sea day and instead of 8 hours in Samana, it's 6 hours in Tortola.

That's too bad. I was already missing the 10-day itinerary with the extra stop...especially when it was still the Southern Caribbean cruise that stopped in Barbados.

 

I have the 9-day booked for January, but don't know if I'd bother with an 8-day.

I think you're right. I just double-checked NCL's website and it's listed as a 9-day cruise with 2 sea days after leaving Tortola.

So glad its a typo. We take this cruise every year and were very disappointed when it went from 10 to 9.
