Coop's Place-New Orleans

Has anyone dined here before? It is located on Decatur St close to the French Market. The menu sounds great and it is inexpensive. Will be there this weekend before my cruise.

I ate here in the summer of 2012 with my wife, sister, and her husband. Everything we had was OUTSTANDING. I'm so glad we found this place. You will not be disappointed.

We ate there in Jan 2013 actually went there twice to eat, everything was yummy. If we ever get back there we will eat there again :)

Wish I could but website states must be 21 or over d/t video poker machines on premise. My daughter is 19...... Anyone have suggestions for another restaurant similar to Coop's?

Unless she actually tries to play video poker, the 19 year old should have no problems getting into Coop's.

I pulled up their website (we are going to be in NOLA in Dec and are interesting in going to this place) it states that you must be over the age of 21 to go into this restaurant.

OMG, my sister and I ate at Coops in the early 90's while on vaca in NOLA. Best fried chicken and red beans and rice. So good, we ate there twice. Awesome bread too :p
