Yes you can bring wine on board, pay the corkage fee at the table just after security, take to your cabin and drink it where ever you'd like~

From the FAQ's:

Wine & Champagne Policy

Guests may bring bottles of wine and champagne on board. When bottles are brought on board and served or consumed in any restaurant, public room area or in their stateroom, a corkage fee will be charged according to bottle sizes noted below.

750 ml Bottle: $15.00

1,500 ml Magnum: $30.00

Wine or champagne sent directly to the ship by travel agents, friends, family, etc. or from another retail source, are subject to the same fees. Box wines are not allowed on board.

Walked on to the Jade 3 weeks ago in Venice carrying 3 bottles of wine in a see through beach bag, fully expecting to pay the corkage charge. The only sign we saw was "no alcohol to be brought on board", but nobody stopped us and there wasn't an obvious desk. Enjoyed the wine on our balcony, and even took a glass to dinner a couple of times, and saved $45 in the process. A friend that was with us also had a couple of bottles and she was panicking that she might get thrown off for "smuggling" booze on board! The only time we saw a sign about corkage was about 4 days in to our cruise. Strange!

The printed material is a little confusing. Boarding the Breakaway in NYC on 12/8. Can I bring my own wine on board? It appears I can, but the question is can I keep in my cabin?

You can bring your own wine onboard but will pay a $15 corkage fee and can enjoy the wine anywhere on the ship. This includes consuming in your cabin/balcony. You will be able to keep it in your cabin.
