Tubing, Zip Line and/or Bobsled

We did the river tubing last January. This was a great experience. It was a lazy river through the Jamaican rain forrest, with a few rapids thrown in. Everything was a great experience, starting with the driver to the location, to the guides, to the support staff. It was sheer fun and relaxation in the midst of beauty. And it was a good price, too.

I would do it again, in a heartbeat.

Thanks, after that can you give me an idea what you did. We're in port til 7:00 and excursion is done by 1:30, wondering what is worth while to do,beach? shop? Thanks

Pay It Forward. Be kind.

We went shopping on the way back and then back to the ship, but that was in Ocho Rios. When we get back to the ship in Falmouth, I doubt we'll do any shopping since Falmouth isn't all that great shopping.

This past July on Allure booked thru RCI Zipline/tubing.

Had a great time, but, some issues did arise.

Met the tour buses promptly at 11 am.

Driven a quick 20 min. to a meeting point in the hills.

Very clean modern restroom facilities as well as changing rooms and pool with a bar.

$8 for a locker.

We zipped first.

Walked about 4 min to orientation area and got our gear, it was fitted and adjusted as needed and helmets and gloves.

Did first practice run.......was great.

All the lines were done well and safety was never an issue.

I think we did 7-8 in all.

Did not permit cameras, (did not enforce)

Upon arrival back to check-in area.

Lunch included

One girl serving over 40 people.

Free Jerk chicken meal, cooked in front of you, and punch, a muffin, actually quite tasty...took a while to be served.

After lunch we were told we would be tubing in 30min.

So:

We went to restroom and changed.

30 min came and went

one hour

One and half hours, now everyone is getting restless

Finally after two hours the first tour from the excursion came back from the tubing, and were going to eat, and we were replacing them. (We did not know there were over 80 people booked so they split us in half). Then they would zip while we tubed.

The tubing was done well, safe, tethered together.

But, the problem occured when we got back to the check in area after 5pm. and they wanted us to see our pictures so we could buy them....we quickly walked away and waited to the first bus to fill and got back to Falmouth a little before 6. We had very little time to shop, and were very rushed.

This double tour was so disorganized with time management, we said we will never do another tour like this again.

Next July we booked the zip line by itself, and it is the one we did on the Freedom of the Seas, and cannot wait.

Sea Ya
