Mcscotty Posted November 12, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2013 Hi, would like some of your valuable input please.... I'm coming over for a cruise from Miami in December. I would like to visit somewhere new first and New Orleans fits that bill. It looks like I have to fly into Miami, do Immigration (slow at Miami) then catch a flight to NO, then fly back to Miami for the cruise. My question is, is 3 days enough time to make the side trip worth while or should I pospone until I have more time available? Won't be driving - so taxi, excursions only. Carolin Posted November 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted November 13, 2013 why not just fly straight to New Orleans? Worth it. yes but your not giving yourself enough time. You'll be spending more time in the air and in the airports then actually experiencing New Orleans.

You're telling me what I felt already, too rushed to be enjoyable.
runner15km Posted November 13, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 13, 2013 (edited) I would stay in southern Florida. Take a ride on a airboat through the Everglades, visit the Miami Zoo and Sea Aquarium. So much to do. Enjoy. Edited November 13, 2013 by runner15km

Dining is top notch and people watching is outstanding. haha :D
