kobecat Posted November 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2013 Are you sure Tassie Cruiser? I've not been on a ship with a kettle, including RCL, Celebrity, Princess.
mollanjake Posted November 17, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2013 Was in a balcony stateroom on Independence in March 2013. There was not a kettle in the cabin. As I recall from reading prior to that cruise, somethings are in the cabin while she is on Europe but not while she is sailing US/Caribbean. Paulxyz2004 Posted November 17, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2013 AFAIK in General kettles are only in JS and up. On certain sailings from UK ports, maybe downunder as well (IDK), they provide kettles in all rooms to cater to the UK Pax.
cruisenfever Posted November 17, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 17, 2013 Are you sure Tassie Cruiser? I've not been on a ship with a kettle, including RCL, Celebrity, Princess. Our experience has been that we've had an electric tea kettle in our JS on all RCI ships we've been on.

besberry Posted November 17, 2013 #9 Share Posted November 17, 2013 All the RCI ships I've sailed on from UK had kettles in the room. And Tetley tea bags.
spookwife Posted November 17, 2013 #10 Share Posted November 17, 2013 Are you sure Tassie Cruiser? I've not been on a ship with a kettle, including RCL, Celebrity, Princess. on ships departing from UK they will put kettles in all cabins. enough complaints from 'locals' made that happen. otherwise if it leaves from the US no kettles or coffee pot unless in a full suite.
