Gem still have games points system?

When cruising on the Gem last October there was a system in place in which cruisers gathered initials from staff for participating in onboard trivia games and other activities, extra initials for the winners. At the end of the cruise the paperwork was exchanged for certain prizes depending on how one would want to allocate the initials. I got a t shirt, coffee mug and key chain. The Breakaway is using the old system of giving every winner a key chain or other small gift, I managed to win an NCL frisbee. Is the Gem or any other ships still using the old system?

I was on the Gem the first week of October and they were still using the signature system for games/prizes.
