Hotel in/near San Juan

I'm looking for recomendations for a hotel for two nights pre-cruise, preferably somewhere between the airport and the pier. Our main requirement is that it has a great pool area. We stayed at the Wyndham Condado Plaza last year and loved the pool, but wanted to try a different hotel. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Based on the pictures on the website and reviews I've read, the Intercontinental appears to be a great place. We have reservations there for our post cruise (3 nights) in August. The pool looks amazing, and people appear to really like the hotel on tripadvisor.com
