Rare nbsjcruiser Posted November 28, 2013 Author #76 Share Posted November 28, 2013 We stopped for lunch beside this marina. Then back on the Trolley for some more sightseeing. and of course Mile 0. We live not too far from where Route 1 starts fwiw
Rare nbsjcruiser Posted November 28, 2013 Author #77 Share Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) Hemingway's house - an interesting way to spend an hour or so I like the way the cat is just sitting, looking at the house as if to say "what are these people doing walking around my domain?" Rare nbsjcruiser Posted November 28, 2013 Author #78 Share Posted November 28, 2013 Is there a better way to end a day at Key West then watching the sunset? I don't think so.
Rare nbsjcruiser Posted November 28, 2013 Author #79 Share Posted November 28, 2013 (edited) A few more sunset pics and that's it for Key West pictures. I'll pop up a few more from around Miami and Fort Lauderdale taken the day we got off the ship. Edited November 28, 2013 by nbsjcruiser

Rare BecciBoo Posted November 29, 2013 #82 Share Posted November 29, 2013 (edited) Since today's cameras have such a large file size, you can't use the CC tool to add them as attachments. I know that many on CC reference that their pictures are actually elsewhere, but they seamlessly show up here in their reviews. What are the mechanics of posting pictures from a site like photobucket or flickr? That's why I use Tinypic to post all my pics instead of an online houser like Flicker, etc. And I have a choice of several pixel sizes like this one: But alas, am not a Linux user so can't do GIMP!!!! Cmoore19 Posted November 30, 2013 #89 Share Posted November 30, 2013 Hmm I will have to think about it. I know we will be bringing an underwater camera for the snorkeling that also takes pictures. Thinking about getting the Gopro. But its not going to take pictures like the Nikon.

Rare nbsjcruiser Posted November 30, 2013 Author #91 Share Posted November 30, 2013 So here's the last of them. Pictures taken on debarkation day. After we left the ship we headed up to the Broadwalk in Hollywood hoping to get a nice beach day before going home. While we did get to the beach, the weather was not as nice as I had hoped. Rick02809 Posted December 1, 2013 #97 Share Posted December 1, 2013 A few more sunset pics and that's it for Key West pictures. I'll pop up a few more from around Miami and Fort Lauderdale taken the day we got off the ship. For an older ship, it really is impressive, classic and beautiful. Your photos in KW brought me back to a great 2 week vacation sent there. I remember going to Mallory Square to watch the sunset as well as the street performers. When the sun hit the water, applause broke out... every night :)
The Big Booper Posted December 1, 2013 #98 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Let us give full credit to the PHOTOGRAPHER who knows what he is doing. Give this camera to a chucklehead who takes flash photos of the island scenery from the pool deck as the ship leaves port in late afternoon, and the results will still be as bad as a shot taken with a cheap camera. I got a good laugh at seeing someone use the term "chucklehead". :D And I totally agree that the camera is but a tool. No amount of technology can make up for a sharp eye and attention to detail. The OP definitely has a great eye for photos. Thanks again for posting an excellent pictorial review OP! The Big Booper Posted December 1, 2013 #100 Share Posted December 1, 2013 We drove down to Port Everglades today to get some shots of the five ships leaving but it was way too windy to walk to the rocks from secret public parking spots we know. So I parked at a gap between the houses lining the channel where this a sightline to the ships but trees interfere. As Oasis floated by all lit up with her lights on I could see dozens of flashes going off taking pictures of the houses from 17 stories up and 400-500 feet away.
