Mahjong on Solstice?

I have a friend who is sailing on the Solstice and she asked me to ask here if anyone knows if there is Majong on the ship. Anyone know and also, where would the games be? Library? Thanks.

When we were on the Solstice last December (13-day Australia/New Zealand) there were many mah jongg games going on in the card room (deck 9). However, I must warn you -- all of the maj jongg players were men -- and these were serious games -- not the kind played here in South Florida by the ladies. In the Caribbean routes, it's almost exclusively women playing mah jongg.

 

I don't know what your itinerary is, but I would take that into consideration.

I would highly recommend bringing your own game with you. We've found that many pieces to ALL the games are missing and it's tough to find a complete game.

Thanks. It's actually the Australia/New Zealand cruise and unfortunately I'm not cruising. I'm asking for friends (4 women). I will be passing on the info to them.
