Any info on Celebrity's Tiami Catamaran Tour?

Tried to book private small cats for our day in Barbados, but the ones we want are either booked or too expensive. We are now holding spaces on the Celebrity ship tour (without lunch) for 4-1/2 hours on Tiami. My only Q is, does anyone know how many pax they usually take? We are used to a cat with no more than 20, and I am thinking their price is reasonable bc this is a much bigger one? (But how big can a catamaran be???? We just want a few swimming/snorkeling spots, some complimentary beverages, a good crew and room to sun on deck. Any experiences you can share from those who have recently taken this specific day cruise will be appreciated.

Thanks!

While I can't speak from personal experience with Tiami, a cat that size normally holds many more than 20 passengers.

The following quote is from a review on TA: "I realized as he was explaining, that with the approximately 50 novices on board, I simply should have chosen a smaller excursion." Another TA reviewer provided no head count but commented: "When the boat stopped for snorkelling it really was a cattle market. You were herded as a mass group like sardines and couldn't help bumping into people as it was so crowded. You were not allowed to swim in any direction you wanted to just told where to swim. Not enjoyable. You also were forced to wear a life jacket."

Certainly not my cup of tea.

Thank you very much for taking the time to respond, and for that extra bit of research. I was coming to the conclusion myself, so we are holding a spot on Tiami just to be covered and I am looking for other well-reviewed small catamarans -- that are not already full.

I am sure we will find something suitable.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We did this excursion through Princess last April. We booked late and our independent choices were booked. I would say there was around 20-25 of us on board and it wasn't crowded. I don't know if that was normal though. Our main objective was to swim with the turtles and we had a great time. Here is the information from Trip Advisor

Just back from Barbados on 12/5. I saw Tiami when we were out with our tour. This is a nice cat and large, it looked pretty packed. It was my understanding that on our day Carnival (our ship) used it for their excursion. We however chose Bolodor which is a cat around the same size, def pretty large that maxs out at 14 people. Check with Geoff and see if he still has room, it is an awesome day...probably one of my favorite excursions in 10 cruises. Service was great, cat is beautiful, snorkeling was amazing and the price is right at $85pp. Geoff is born and raised in Barbados and runs his business. He is with you the entire time, he even drove us back to the ship.
