arush5268d Posted November 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 27, 2013 Black Friday is not for travel providers. It is for retail stores to suck people. Threads about this have been popping up like crazy lately. Nobody recalls ever hearing about a black friday cruise sale.

arush5268d Posted November 27, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 27, 2013 They can call it whatever they want but I have never seen them have some sort of 'door buster' rates that are way cheaper than their normal sale rates. Its just marketing.

Carnival_Brides Posted November 28, 2013 #24 Share Posted November 28, 2013 CCL doesn't really do a Black Friday or Cyber Monday flash sale. They used to run 12 days of Christmas (details are in the previously posted thread), but that stopped about 6 years ago.
Methosage Posted November 29, 2013 #25 Share Posted November 29, 2013 Wow Carnival really likes teasing us. At 4:10am they posted on their Facebook page: "Rise and shine, sleepy shoppers — it’s Black Friday! What fun deals are you most looking forward to this year?" I know they are not offering Black Friday sales (just the pack and go sale) but I go to carnival.com to double check. And as expected there are no sales I can see. Why must you tease us Carnival?!?!
