Does Horizon Terrace get busy on the Royal?

The Horizon Terrace on the Royal Princess looks like a great spot - it reminds me of the back buffet area on the Solstice class Celebrity ships.

 

In the pictures I've seen, there's rarely anyone there. Can anyone tell me if that's usually the case, or does it get very busy at times?

I just got back from the Royal and the Horizon Terrace is the best for dining outside and still be covered. There are limited seating for lounging and reading a book, I wish Princess would increase these couch like seats. The Horizon Bistro and Court are fantastic, beautiful design! The ship is equally beautiful.

One more thing, the terrace is not usually busy, plenty of room.

Because of the layout, it should be less busy than the other ships.

I agree that it was enjoyable & rarely crowded but don't tell anyone...shhhh! ;)

We were on the Royal the week of Nov 17. It never was overly crowded. Some were playing cards, some were eating, some were on the sofa seats chatting, very few were at the bar. It was quiet. We enjoyed it, as we always liked to go back to the Terrace Pool area on the other ships because of that.

I was pleasantly surprised because it had the veranda feel with the wood floors and was a bigger area than I thought it would be. I didn't miss the pool.
