Don't know specifics of Jewel, but we've been on several ships that start decorating right after Thanksgiving.

Just got off Jewel yesterday. Christmas tree and garland around the centrum went up early Thursday morning so we had the ship decorated for Christmas on Thanksgiving day.

Cool. I really like it when they decorate the ships for Christmas. A few years back we were on HAL about mid-December and they did a wonderful job of decorating.
