deladypilot Posted November 30, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2013 Just a little fun while we all wait for NCL to post their 2015 summer schedule (which should be out in the next week or so) For those of you that remember the old Mervyns department stores and their cute commercials where the women stands at the window and says open, open open ! My husband and I sit at our computers saying.. POST'em, POST'em, POST'em You know you have it bad, when you check the website daily even though you know the new schedule wont be out for at least another week Happy Holidays everyone

DMH15 Posted November 30, 2013 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2013 I re-enact that commercial all the time. It is a classic! I can't wait for 2015 schedules as well. Need to book niece's HS grad/18 bday cruise on the Jewel out of Houston. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Vicki'sMom Posted November 30, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2013 LOL I still mimic the "open, open, open" on occasion and people look at me like I have lost my mind!!! It was a sad day in metro Atlanta when Mervyns closed their stores here. :( Count me in for "post'em, post'em, post'em"!! Come on NCL, we're waiting!! ;)
portcbob Posted November 30, 2013 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2013 Hi Guys. Have been keeping an eye out also for the 2015 summer itineraries for the Med. Looking at doing the Jade or Spirit once again. Hope it is not to long now before the Brochures are released, so we can plan our next NCL cruise in the beautiful Med. Cheers Bob.:):):)

Rebelswimgirl13 Posted December 1, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Does anyone know when they will post the transatlantic ones that usually happen in April or are they not doing them this year.
milolii Posted December 1, 2013 #8 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Hi the TA should be posted at the same time. The ships will need to move from their winter routes to Europe. Although we do not know which ones, the Star appears to be returning to Europe to sail the Baltic Capitals plus maybe Norway. At least one more ship will likely also cross to cruise the Med. milolii Posted December 1, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 1, 2013 How funny post em. I have a PCC at NCL, but somehow suspect I will see the schedules before him. Most likely thanks to someone here on the boards. Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app

That is our 50th anniversary year and we are looking for a TA with a connection to Copenhagen and the Baltic. Lynda That summer is our 20th anniversary! We live in Vancouver, so we were thinking that an Alaskan cruise would be perfect - no flying, just drive to the terminal. :) Count me among the "post 'em, post 'em" people. 😉

We live in Vancouver, so we were thinking that an Alaskan cruise would be perfect - no flying, just drive to the terminal. :) Count me among the "post 'em, post 'em" people. 😉 Alaska is a great cruise. We have done 2 now. 1 R/T Seattle and one Vancouver to Whittier. We loved both. Next year (2014) they are offering a 10 day Alaska cruise that embarks in Vancouver and disembarks in Seattle. We are hoping with all hope that they will offer it in 2015. If so, that is the one we are booking

I called my PCC a couple of weeks ago and she had been told that the schedule would be out "the first part of December". 2 years ago the 2013 schedule showed up December 6th, so im hoping for the same this year. Scooterpi Posted December 3, 2013 #16 Share Posted December 3, 2013 I'm a previous Carnival cruiser who wants to plan a European cruise for May 2015 and think NCL would be my best bet from the research I have done. I realllly want them to release the schedules for 2015 so I can start planning. I'm unhappy with my travel agent and am going to type up a letter to send out to several to attempt to find a new one for this trip but I want to have some idea of what itinerary I want first. CruisinMaterial Posted December 3, 2013 #19 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Hoping for a new ship in Boston for 2015 plus a forth night in Bermuda " like the old days " It was nice to have so much time in Bermuda. It allowed you to get more things coordinated and do a night out in Hamilton with fellow cruisers. The taxi fares for nightlife over there are just hideous! Now the casino law being passed will surely help keep ships tied up longer. I don't know if they'd let the Dawn take off on Wednesday morning and have the Breakaway come in the afternoon like they used to with the Dawn / Gem.
