Orlandocruisers Posted December 1, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Yeah!!! Carnival matched prices from another site for our Sunshine cruise. We got $160.00 on board credit. Thanks Carnival!

I'm sure there is more to the story because there is no reason for them to price match.
Orlandocruisers Posted December 1, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted December 1, 2013 I called and asked. There is nothing more to this story.
cruisinfanatic Posted December 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 1, 2013 I called and asked. There is nothing more to this story. Since TA's are required to charge the same as the cruiseline, it's very unlikely you actually got a price lower than Carnival was already charging. Ocean Dancer Posted December 1, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 1, 2013 If you are not in Final Payment, could this be a reduction? Keep tract of prices and you may get further reductions. If you don't call, you will not get them! Good for you.:)
purplemusik Posted December 1, 2013 #6 Share Posted December 1, 2013 My agent told me I had 3 days for them to price match in the beginning.
golfadj Posted December 1, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 1, 2013 Actually the lower price you saw was also Carnivals price so they just gave you that price.
Orlandocruisers Posted December 1, 2013 Author #8 Share Posted December 1, 2013 I have already paid for my cruise in full. I am also unable to see the prices for the Sunshine on the web site. You may be right, that they just gave me the price now. I am still happy about the $160.
gusandgidgetsmom Posted December 2, 2013 #9 Share Posted December 2, 2013 Good for you. It will come in handy. We book early saver and always watch the price reductions. We had 800.00 OBC when we sailed to Hawaii in Oct. Quite a nice beginning.

I do not understand why you cannot see current prices on website. should be viewable until the ship is completely full.
Orlandocruisers Posted December 3, 2013 Author #11 Share Posted December 3, 2013 I don't know why the Sunshine 5 day cruise I'm only able to see maybe once a week. If I go to other cruise sites I can see it. The 2 day cruise shows.
