Just wondering if anyone off her today and how their cruise was?

Read a bunch of mixed reviews and just curious.. Also have a few questions for recent legend cruisers....:p

Latest cocktail drink prices to decide if worth getting Cheers program...

Availability of escargot in MDR

Availability of nightly fresh sushi

Haven't been on her in a while so interested if any changes for when I go on her in 2 weeks.....Thanks

Just got home yesterday. Did a B2B the first week was good, but over Thanksgiving everything was really hit & miss.

Escargot on Fri. nite.

Sushi one nite in the MD as a did you ever starter.

She is really looking her age but matbe after dry dock in Feb. that will be a little bit better.

The first leg we had under 50 kid's. Second leg over 800 & I swear NO CAMP CARNIVAL & all 800 were outside my cabin door ( we had a 15 year old in our cabin )family joined us for Thanksgiving.

They ran out of choc. milk by Thurs. evening.

If you plan on cruising in 2014 Check with Jeff I booked 6 cruises with him. Tell him Charlotte sent you.

I just posted a review on this message board a few minutes before yours. It's there in the list of messages. Loved the Legend and it's really in great shape. No sushi for me, but DH had it one night in the MDR. He also had escargot one night. We order liquor for our cabin and bring mixers with us and I had free drinks in the casino on the 2nd day (over 1,500 points earned already). Can't help you with the Cheers program because we just don't drink that much to make it worthwhile for us. Everything was great except our wait staff was not very attentive which we weren't used to. Rest of the crew was terrific. Food was pretty good - some misses like the Oysters Rockefeller and panko breaded shrimp (DH said it was awful - bits of shrimp formed into this long, narrow thing). Hopefully, you'll be able to see my review.

Thanks for the updates so far...

So I am guessing that the nightly availability of escargot in MDR and the nightly sushi (just along from coffee bar) is also non-existent now?:(

I usually drink some foo-foo cocktails, mimosas and maybe a tiramisu martini nightcap so maybe average about 6-8 drinks so think the cheers will work good as I don't plan on getting off at all the ports either, since done them so many times....hoping for good weather tho! That's my "therapy" lots of sun, some good books, beautiful ocean.... hope it's clears up in the Caribbean...

You mean they didn't even run any kids program? Camp Carnival is for 2-11 year olds so the 15 year old would have been in the Club O2.

Was just being funny :D of course they had all that plus some. Just a lot of kids for us ol'folk that don't cruise holiday's or the summer. ;)

No they don't really hang out at the Club02 as it isn't open all the time & most of their party's are at 10:00 or later.

We were on the Legend the end of October . Great food ! Much better than our last cruise . The wait staff was excellent . The bar tenders so so and our cabin steward so so . Comedy was good . The bed was harder than any I have ever rembered . All in all a good cruise .
