Is it worth visiting?

Is the Bahamas, Freeport, Nassau worth going to on a cruise?

Would the western or southern Caribbean be better?

IMO there really isn't much worth going to Freeport for. I prefer going to Atlantis/Nassau for a long weekend as a land vacation and wouldn't take a cruise that ONLY went there.

 

IMO the Eastern and Southern Caribbean are by far the best of the Caribbean... Beautiful islands, beaches, great shopping. I much prefer cruising in that area when taking a Caribbean cruise.
