How Is Divina Entertainment???

Does She Has An R&B Duo, Like NCL Breakaway?

Does She Has Pool Side, Dj's , Line Dances, Like The Other Lines?

How Are The Main Production Shows?? The Lounges? E.T.C......

I'm Still Undeciced, About Switching From Carnival Splendor, To The Divina, For Next October!!!

Any, And All Replies, Will Be Appreciated!!!!!:confused:

Hmmm....

on the 3 night...the main show /ship entertainers were

6 female dancers, 4 male dancers

3 "Contortunists" who also danced

a female singer and a male singer

a lady who played violin - really cool

4 acrobat guys from ? islands

an acrobat guy/aerilist with "drapes/sheets?"

a guy who did a crazy hula hoop thing

2 strongmen

a magician and assistant

a guy who did a nutty yoyo ? juggle thingy ?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
on ship - great dueling piano duo
a classical trio usually in lobby
an r and b duo in coffee/icecream/bar "Duo Devotion"
Montecarlo Dance Band
a latin trio
a duo "ital americo" ?
another (classical?) piano player
a sax player who plays around ship
a dj in disco plus karaoke every night in sports bar
"entertainment" team who dances with audience
a really super entertainer Scott Record - comedy and singing impressions
Abbacadabera tribute group
Michael Jackson Impersonator/dancer with backup of the dancers and singers
they did not have the "Caribbean" band yet but they supposedly are getting one
contrast that to Carnival - most ships they are down to 8..yes 8 singer dancers, 2 of whom are the lead singers to a sound track....4 comedians (nice but crowded since still in smaller room, should IMHO be in theater)...
they got rid of steel band have a dj blaring and usually 2 guitar players that they have on deck, in casino and anywhere else they can fit them , one piano player, and a latin trio. And....that's it folks
lots of dj music, and no more Filipino Cover band (boooo )
So....seems with addition of cruise director (who does the Hasboro game shows) Carnival is putting out 20 entertainment staff
MSC with Cruise Director equals 53 entertainment
plus ? 8 or 10 "Animation" team
Carnival does have washcloths tho <grin>
I do like Carnival but I really miss the Filipino Cover Bands and the full production shows with singers/dancers. They used to have 4 lead singers and about 20 dancers, then 16....now they are down to 8 and 2 of them are the singers....pretty sad. Steel band is gone. I remember a 5 piece Steel Band on my first Imagination sailing and the best Filipino cover band, and great show with 24 entertainers, fly in acts too - each ship had at least one fly in specialty act....now?? They let the passengers entertain themselves....talent show...."legends" show (audition and good singers /cruisers imitate stars ) , game shows, marriage show
I like that MSC has real entertainment
does anyone else know if they still indeed do karaoke each night of the cruise?
MSC entertainment far exceeds the entertainment on Carnival, or any other ship that I've been on. Sharecruises is about right about the variety and number of performers; plus they all do their performing amazingly well.
The only show we've ever walked out on in 12 cruises was on the Carnival Magic.
