Possibly Helpful Player's Club Info

On my last cruise I participated in the Cheers program. Needless to say I had a little more fun in the casino than I usually do. This led to me qualifying for free drinks. This was the first and only time I will probably ever qualify for that. Anyway, I booked a last minute cruise on the Ecstasy and I thought I would give the Player's Club a call and see if it was possible if I qualified for free drinks on this cruise.

I was told in order to qualify for free drinks right away on this cruise I would have had to accumulate at least 5000 point on my last cruise. Needless to say, I did not qualify.

I have seen other posters asking what the point total is to qualify for free drinks.

Free drinks on current cruise accumulate 1000 points while on board.

Free drinks as soon as you board if you accumulated 5000 points on your prior cruise.

If you have been mailed Players Club coupons (offering casino cash) hang on to them. Even if you don't BOOK by the booking deadline shown, but CRUISE before the cruise-by deadline, the casino hosts will honor them. We have three each for our trip in January, and got a casino rate on our booking ($195 pp for 6 nights)

Call the players club a week or two before your trip, and ask for any available comps. They look at your profile and can offer any combinations of casino credit, wine and strawberries to your stateroom, and other promos.

My husband plays longer and tips more frequently than I do, and gets 3x the casino credit that is offered to me. (We both minimum bet on 3 card poker)
