JawjaFatBoy Posted December 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Take it however you will, but John Heald stated on his Facebook page that he had copies of the new menus and would be posting them in the next day or so. Looking forward to seeing what changes will be on them and really looking forward to trying some of the ones I've heard about.

TheTravelista Posted December 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Don't fret. John just posted in response to someone's comment that shrimp cocktail and warm chocolate melting cake will be available upon request every day along with new items. golfadj Posted December 3, 2013 #9 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Wonder what the record is on cc for most threads on one topic in one day? Seems like most of what they had is staying around
RuthlessBoss Posted December 3, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Wonder what the record is on cc for most threads on one topic in one day? Seems like most of what they had is staying around The escargot and comfort food threads were numerous. As for today's notice, I think it's pretty ridiculous to start so many on the same thing, people asking about certain foods being kept even before the menu was revealed. StrangeBrew Posted December 3, 2013 #11 Share Posted December 3, 2013 I just love shrimp , eat it every week and at home I have to share with the cats . I will usually get 3 to 4 at dinner but what I would like to see more of is a wider variety of hot soups , maybe that will help cut me down to 2 shrimp cocktails . I know my wife will get a thrill out of any new changes that do not include seafood (allergic) and she has been eating salads and fruits every dinner due to the , as she puts it , the lack of variety . Colorado Kat Posted December 4, 2013 #12 Share Posted December 4, 2013 The cold soups are what I love. Hope they still have them. Yes, I order the cold soups every chance I get. One of the few items that are always vegetarian.
GottaLuvCruising Posted December 4, 2013 #13 Share Posted December 4, 2013 I order a shrimp cocktail almost every day. But I also love the soups and salads...and don't see much on the new menus.
Cruzin2paradise09 Posted December 4, 2013 #14 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Don't wanna brag, but guess where I'll be Sunday?!?! Yup, The Carnival Glory! I will report back with all the nitty-gritty 'dirt' on the new menu, table cloths/no table cloths, etc. May even report daily if the Glory does have the new wifi packages like I have heard they do. :D
JustCruiseMe Posted December 4, 2013 #15 Share Posted December 4, 2013 The cold soups are what I love. Hope they still have them. I don't like the cold soups but the warm ones..yum..they had some squash and cheddar cheese soup I think it was and I loved it!
irishnyc Posted December 4, 2013 #16 Share Posted December 4, 2013 I cant understand why everyone is so in love shrimp coctail. Especially when the shrimp served in the MDR are so scrawny. People, make it yourself at home! Buy pre-cooked shrimp if you must, thaw, open jar of cocktail sauce, and dive in.
Sauer-kraut Posted December 4, 2013 #17 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Yes, I order the cold soups every chance I get. One of the few items that are always vegetarian. But many are made with a milk/jogurt base....

Colorado Kat Posted December 4, 2013 #21 Share Posted December 4, 2013 But many are made with a milk/jogurt base.... Vegetarians eat milk products. Vegans do not eat any animal based products. I am just vegetarian. It would be very difficult to go out to eat while being a Vegan. The hot soups look appealing, until I am told they have a beef or chicken stock base.
