Oriana dining room question

Hi,

I have come across some china (plates, bowls, etc.) with a stamp on the bottom indicating that it was "designed by Queensbury Hunt for P & O Oriana." The china is white and has large black diamonds painted on it (in an art deco style). Does anyone know if this china is from the current Oriana or from the original Oriana?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.

I was on the original Oriana twice, first time 1964, second 1970 - she was a beauty in her day.

I don't recall the china pattern, but there was certainly a lot of art deco style

furnishings etc aboard.

I would hazard a guess that what you found was from the original.

I don't think the current Oriana has too much art deco aboard, but don't know for sure.
