teach01 Posted July 14, 2005 #26 Share Posted July 14, 2005 I am scheduled to depart on Sunday July 17 on the AOS and I just checked in online. I had previously completed the online docs. I went to boarding docs and it took me directly to the online check in.
Emerson's girl Posted July 15, 2005 #27 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I registered online and printed the docs, but the bar code didn't print. I think it may have something to do with security settings on computer. Does this sound right?
1sttimemariner Posted July 15, 2005 #28 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I heard that this on-line check in process was in the testing process and only available on one ship right now (the Explorer I believe). I have not heard that it was made available on any other ships.
BMW325 Posted July 15, 2005 #29 Share Posted July 15, 2005 Just completed everything in about 5 minutes and printed out the set sail pass with no problem.
3redheads Posted July 15, 2005 #30 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I'm trying to edit my boarding documents and it keeps going to a blank page, but it says "done" on the bottom. Must be busy this morning.
Emmabelle Posted July 15, 2005 #31 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I just did the onboard checkin for Empress on July 28 and it was a breeze, it took just a few minutes since I had already inputed the info weeks ago when I did my original documents. 3redheads Posted July 15, 2005 #32 Share Posted July 15, 2005 Finally got to my documents, but it doesn't have anything except what I filled out a few months ago-embarkation documents. I will check back :D Kim

fungirl28 Posted July 15, 2005 #34 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I'm booked on the Enchantment of the seas and I cannot get to that page, but for my Explorer cruise I can.

Garycruz Posted July 15, 2005 #37 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I had already done that but went back and checked again. The only thing I can go to is the guest information forms and print out the summary. If it's under the online forms area I can't access it. Guessing it could be because I booked through a travel agent. I booked directly through Royal Caribbean and I'm not able to check in either. I filled out the guest information form a couple of months ago but that's as far as I can go. I will be sailing on Serenade and I have to assume that it is simply not one of the ships which has been given online check-in access yet. If anyone else is sailing on Serenade and was able to use online check in, please let me know. But I have to believe that is the reason.
Terpnut Posted July 15, 2005 #38 Share Posted July 15, 2005 Serenade is not on the list and does not currently have on-line check-in.
3redheads Posted July 15, 2005 #39 Share Posted July 15, 2005 The Mariner is on the list and I sail in 30 days??? Anyone else on the Mariner within the near future? Have you been able to print your sea pass?
macbasset Posted July 15, 2005 #40 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I'm going on 7/31 Mariner and haven't been able to do the online check in. I did the online boarding documents months ago, but wasn't able to do this online check-in. Is there anyone on Mariner that has been able to do this? MysticRhythmCruiser Posted July 15, 2005 #41 Share Posted July 15, 2005 Wow, I sure hope this is available on Brilliance in November! I wonder if you can still try for a pier upgrade if you do online check-in? Cheers, Esther
bbrad8 Posted July 15, 2005 #42 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I registered online and printed the docs' date=' but the bar code didn't print. I think it may have something to do with security settings on computer. Does this sound right?[/quote'] You may wish to try printing your SetSail Pass again. Had a simular problem (bar code would not print). Waited a couple days. Just printed it out including the bar code. Now good to go!! Bruce
Fritz265 Posted July 15, 2005 #43 Share Posted July 15, 2005 I'm on Explorer in September and just checked in. Nice and easy..... When I login to my reservation online and go to the boarding docs section, it took me right into the check in process. With the ability to book a cruise online, select my stateroom, make payments and doing check in docs online, why use a TA? RCI is lightyears ahead of any other cruiseline in technology. Merion_Mom Posted July 15, 2005 #44 Share Posted July 15, 2005 See Cruise Critic news for the roll-out plan: http://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=1326 CruiseMark, thanks for printing that direct link. It certainly explains why I can't do this on my Enchantment cruise! Carol
jules71 Posted July 15, 2005 #45 Share Posted July 15, 2005 Interestingly, I was able to complete the documents for a September cruise on the Empress, but not for a December Brilliance cruise. I thought maybe it had something to do with final payment -- which isn't due for the Brilliance until September.
