The raffle tickets were part of a Bingo Package purchased at the pool. If you purchased the $30 package you got 4 of them. We had to drop them off in the casino and the drawing was the last night of the cruise.

 

I had about $385 on my bar tab that was wiped clean! I wasn't informed that I won until the morning of departure and it covered all bar expenses up until midnight the previous night, although I did buy a few rounds in the piano bar that night before so it worked out perfectly!

My daughter won on our Breeze cruise in February. She had thrown the tickets away not knowing about the 2nd chance, but accidentally bumped into a lady who dropped hers. When DD bent down to picked up the lady's tickets, she asked why she was filling them out. Dd rushed back to where she had just thrown them away, grabbed them, and filled hers out. Good Karma. Luckily, we had both cabins linked together and it wiped out all 5 of our bills...still didn't reach the $500 mark, but was close!

The drawing is the last night (usually right before or after the final Bingo game).

 

On the Miracle in September, the Emcee stressed the bar tab would be paid only up to the point of the drawing so you could not go out and buy drinks for your friends in the event you won.

Lol....my sister in law won this drawing a few years ago on a family cruise we were taking so she did exactly that....bought us all a round!! BUT...the $500 was ONLY good on alcohol purchased BEFORE the drawing, nothing after that point!!!! OOPS!!

We won on our Elation cruise a few weeks ago. DH went to close our account, came back, dropped the money on the bed & handed me the receipt. I looked at him & immediately began calculating! What we got back totaled all the drink purchases. Received a letter the next morning telling us we had won! Needless to say, we were happy! Had an extra $300 in our pocket!
