Tahiti Restaurants

We stayed at the IC Tahiti recently and one night went to Casa Bianca. The taxi was reasonable and the food was quite good. Even factoring in the cost of transportation it was much less than a meal at the IC. We shared a pasta that was flamed tableside in grapa and topped with a mushroom sauce. The presentation was amazing, portion huge and very tasty.

We did not enjoy the food at the hotel and found it to be very expensive. After the first breakfast buffet the other day we found a coffee shop in town for quick bite which was better tasting a much cheaper.

Yeah the buffet price is a joke. I walk to a grocery store and stock up cheaply. Dinner however - look closely at the menu. Some specials can run as low as $15 and are quite good, had a fresh fish special lat time that was great at the price.
