Flat irons for hair.

I know this may be a stupid question to ask, please don't be snide about replies....but can you bring a small flat iron on the ship with you for your hair?

My wife always brings hers and a curling iron. The cabins have hair dryers, but I think she is going to pack hers next time, as the location of the dryer seemed to cause her trouble.

Flat irons, curling irons, electric rollers, etc. are all OK. If a cruise line said no to this type of item I think quite few women would not be cruising:)

Yes, I brought a regular size hair straightener earlier this year. No problem at all.

Clothes irons, no.

 

But you can use your hair iron to touch up your clothes.;)

My daughter always brings a flat iron. Sometimes a hair dryer as well, since the ones on ship can be anemic.

As a fellow frizzy, I'd recommend some good products as well. I'd straighten my hair and by the time we got back from dinner I was fluffy again. The humidity on board in the open decks just wreaked havoc on my hair. Wide headbands were a lifesaver. Even the DH was asking me to fix it again! Lol

Of course, there is always the FLAT IRON steak that they serve in the MDR. It always curls my hair when I try to eat it. .................................. Sorry. That was snide.
