Southernmost Point?

We will be coming in on the Breeze and we are just wondering how far is the Southernmost point away from the port? What is the best way to get there?

Actually it is about a mile and a quarter straight down Whitehead St from Front St. 15-20 min. walk.

It's a nice walk! Especially if you are heading there in the morning. Beautiful walk.

The question is what kind of condition are you in? We tried to walk there on a hot, humid July morning with some friends who are in their seventies. We had to give up and go get our car and drive them there. It is a great walk, but not everyone can easily do it, plus you'd have to walk back, so consider that too.

Very True! And it will depend on the weather as well I guess. We were there and walking early morning and it was about 70 degrees and sunny. On a hot sticky day, yes, it might be a miserable walk.

I usually walk(actually ride a bike or scooter) down Duval because there are a lot of shops until u get past A1A. I cross over near the end, south to Whitehead or north to Simonton and a bit more to Louie's

Your ship will be docked right at the head of Whitehead St. Just walk straight down Whitehead. On the way, you'll pass the Mel Fisher museum, county courthouse, Hemingway House, Key West lighthouse and Bahama Village. It's a really nice walk. You can then either catch a taxi or walk over a block and make your way back up Duval St.

its a hoof. Take Old Town Trolley, they have a stop two blocks from there.:o

I took City View Trolley and stopped right there. Trolley runs every 30 minutes or so.

No sightseeing vehicles stop at the Southernmost Point, including City View.

Both City View and Old Town stop about a block away due to congestion in the area.
