MTdreaming Posted December 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2013 We will be traveling with another couple that have some mobility issues. Both can walk, but steps are difficult, can't stand for long periods or walk long distances. Water sports are not an option..so.. what would you experienced Cozumel folks recommend? We thought of visiting Chankanaab, just for relaxing seeing the foliage and sea animal shows, but have heard it is a lot of walking? Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks. JohninDC Posted December 16, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 16, 2013 Taxi to Paradise Beach club (about $16+tip for up to 4 in the cab), find nice chairs in the shade ($2 per chair) and let the waiter run back-and-forth to the bar for you! :D
JYD Hawkeye Posted December 17, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2013 My wife uses a wheelchair to get around and this April we will be trying the Cozumel Bar Hop. They do the driving and you enjoy the party.
MTdreaming Posted December 20, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted December 20, 2013 Thanks everyone.. we have two non drinkers in the party, which complicates things a bit as well.. regardless should be a nice chill day somewhere!
gordito Posted December 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 22, 2013 DW and I were in Cozumel Nov. 20/2013 and had contacted Josue Trejo Paredes taxi394atmsndotcom tel.(from USA) (011 52) 1 987 564 0137 for a van with a lift for power wheel chair.
