Beaches...whats the best for us?

in September i will be on Majesty of the Seas with 2 other girls. we are between 25-30 years old and are looking for a nice FREE beach to go to. I've looked on this board alot and i'm trying to figure out what beach is best for what we want.

 

We are looking for somewhere free, has drinks, and isn't too far of a drive from the ship. We want to be a relatively short taxi/bus ride away from the ship and have reliable transportation so we dont have to worry about getting back late. if it has beach chairs to rent thats fine, but we dont want to pay to use a resort's facility. We are ladies on a budget, and seems how the next day we are in cococay, we aren't trying to break the bank on our nassau beach day.

 

any suggestions? i think last time i went we went somewhere over on paradise island, but i'll be a monkey's uncle if can remember the name of the place. we took a van from the middle of town to get over there.
